Our Story

In 2005 our family found ourselves grieving the loss of a child from an umbilical cord accident shortly before birth. As a young family we were suddenly thinking about funeral arrangements, something we had not planned for up until that point.

Our Mission

Helping families facing medical challenges do more. The Do More Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charity that exists to assist families with financial needs that arise as a result of a medically needy or chronically ill child. We also assist families with the costs associated with funeral expenses related to the death of a child.

Need Help?

The Do More Foundation can assist with the expenses that are incurred and not covered by traditional health insurance. Some examples of this would be:

  • Assistance with rent/utility bills
  • Assistance with meals while at the hospital
  • Assistance with gas cards for travel to and from the hospital
  • Assistance with non-covered medical supplies

The Do More Foundation donates pillow cases to kids in the hospital to help spread cheer while they are inpatient. Making pillowcases is a great project for a Girl Scout group, church group or civic group. There are steps for even the inexperienced sewer!

Fundraising House Party

Fundraising House Party

A house party allows us to reach more people and let them know about the projects and families we help. Hosts support by reaching out to their contacts and giving invites to people over for an evening of fun and finding out how they can do more.

Dimes for Donuts

Dimes for Donuts

We facilitate the fundraiser and everything involved by giving each student a box for collecting coins and the classroom that submits the most money at the end of the fundraiser will earn a donut party on us! Love donuts and want to do more? It’s that easy!
